The SGE Trajan FocusLiner (Part No. 092002-01) is a premium ultra-inert GC inlet liner engineered for Agilent split/splitless gas chromatograph injectors. Measuring 78.5mm in length, 4mm internal diameter, and 6.3mm outer diameter, the liner features an innovative dual-focus design that optimizes sample transfer into the analytical column. Its lower tapered section concentrates the injected sample directly onto the column entrance while minimizing contact with heated metal injector surfaces, reducing analyte degradation. The upper taper suppresses solvent flashback, ensuring efficient vaporization and improved peak shape. An integrated deactivated quartz wool plug wipes the syringe needle during injection, promoting complete sample transfer, reducing droplet formation, and improving injection reproducibility. Manufactured using Ultra Inert deactivation technology, the FocusLiner minimizes adsorption of active compounds, making it ideal for sensitive GC and GC-MS applications including pharmaceutical, environmental, food safety, forensic, and petrochemical analyses.
