The MSPT25-45 PTFE Syringe Filter is designed for laboratory applications requiring maximum chemical compatibility and reliable particulate removal. Manufactured with a hydrophobic Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane, it offers outstanding resistance to virtually all organic solvents, concentrated acids, and strong bases, making it the preferred choice for challenging chemical filtration. Its 0.45µm pore size efficiently removes suspended particles while maintaining high flow rates and protecting analytical instruments such as GC and HPLC systems. The durable 25mm polypropylene housing provides excellent mechanical strength and leak-free operation. For aqueous samples, the membrane should be pre-wetted with a water-miscible solvent such as methanol before filtration.
